Sisters in Christ
Welcome to the Ministry to Women
As an arm of pastoral care to the women of Hebron, we foster meaningful spiritual friendships rooted in the Word.
It is our earnest prayer that every woman will grow in her relational knowledge of God and fulfil the Great Commission by moving from a mature disciple to an active discipler, faithfully using the spiritual gifts and resources God has given her to build up the body of Christ.
Our journey and return
- The transition (July 2024 to June 2026): our fellowship groups and activities met off-site during the church building upgrades. We thank the Lord for his faithfulness and protection through the relocation.
- The return: since our first service back on 28 June 2026, all Ministry to Women activities are back in our church building.
- Our aspiration: that our upgraded home will be a vibrant space where women of all generations are nurtured in faith, equipped with spiritual gifts and inspired to serve one another with joy.
Our strategic thrusts
- Sisters ministering to sisters: deep fellowship by women and for women, as an arm of mutual care in the body of Christ.
- Titus 2 mentorship across generations: sharing scriptural wisdom, sound doctrine and practical faith among women of all ages.
- Disciple-building and multiplication: moving from passive fellowship to active obedience, so that every woman grows as a disciple who disciples others.
Our approach
We draw on the gifts and talents of the women in our church to give sisters different ways to gather, learn from one another and share their lives. Sisters are encouraged to lead and anchor these ministries, creating a safe, prayerful space to bear one another’s burdens and grow together in spiritual maturity.

A humble, approachable core group of women prayerfully oversees our fellowships and activities, relying on the Lord’s strength.

- Be an encourager: walk alongside sisters in deep, inter-generational spiritual friendship.
- Minister to specific needs: show Christ-like care to sisters who are bereaved, unwell or elderly.
- Anchor new initiatives: use your gifts and resources to serve the body of Christ.

Experiencing God in Difficult Times
Lessons from the lives of women. This booklet affirms that God is with us at all times, including difficult times. Everyone is welcome to read it.
